for you. *Packages purchased may not be transferred to pay for other services. A refund of any remaining balance can be made within 3 business days of the package purchase minus a 5% processing fee. Refund amount will be based on any redeemed services being calculated at individual service values. Packages expire 2 years after initial purchase date.

Massage Trigger Point Therapy Trigger points are tender areas usually found in tight muscles. They may radiate, or refer, pain to other areas of the body. They can also cause muscle weakness or restricted range of motion. Trigger points can result from a number of causes, including direct trauma, exposure to cold, and overuse of a muscle group. Neuromuscular massage is a manual system of working with trigger points. Lymphatic Drainage The lymphatic system is essential as the body's drainage system for cleansing and filtering out of bacteria and toxins. Congested lymph pathways can cause soreness, aches, pains and flu-like symptoms. Lymphatic massage helps to unclog the lymph system. Beginning in a clockwise motion on the body, the lymph system is manually cleansed. Best performed in a series of six, or as part of a full detoxification program, this form of massage helps the body to heal itself from many common maladies. As with most massage, it is vital to drink lots of water after a lymphatic massage. Reflexology Reflexology is a natural healing art based on the principle that there are reflexes in the hands, feet and ears that correspond to every part, gland and organ of the body. Through application of pressure on these reflexes, reflexology relieves tension, improves circulation and promotes the natural function of the related areas of the body. If requested this is worked into our standard massage services. Can Reflexology be considered a medical treatment? Although Reflexology does not diagnose or treat specific ailments by definition, it has proven highly successful over time to relieve symptoms or ease pain or discomfort that have manifested themselves physically in the body - either as a result of stress, trauma or disease. If you are currently under a physician's advisement, consult them before any treatment is considered. Reflexology helps balance the systems of the body by assisting the immune system and helping it work more efficiently which, in turn, speeds up the healing process. Special Note to Cancer Patients We welcome the opportunity to help relieve the stress you are currently undergoing through massage therapy. Please note that we will need a note signed by your oncologist okaying your receipt of massage therapy, in addition to filling out the appropriate LLP paperwork.
